Gerald T. Eddards, 74 of Cottonwood, passed away on September 5, 2013 in Tucson. He was born on May 21, 1939 in San Rafael, California to David Eddards and Mary Twohy . Gerald attended San Rafael High School for 4 years. He served his country in the Army. Gerald worked and retired from the City of Napa Water Department in California and worked for Wal-Mart in Cottonwood. Gerald loved to keep busy by fixing cars, his motorcycle, he liked to garden, collect clocks and liked working around his house. He had a big heart and was friends with everyone. He will be greatly missed. Gerald was preceded in death by his sister Coralie Willis-Eddards and mother Mary Twohy. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Mary; sons Coby Eddards of Prescott, Gerald Eddards Jr (Chris) of Arkansas, Lawrence Eddards of Cave Creek and Julius Eddards of Gilbert; daughters Rebecca Eddards of California, Rachel Eddards of Arkansas and Samantha Alvarado (Angelo) of Cottonwood; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
