Gladys Hope Alden

May 5, 1910 — January 17, 2003

Gladys Hope Alden, 92, went to be with her Lord on January 17. She lived in an assisted care facility in Cottonwood. She was born and raised in Artesia,New Mexico. Later, she lived in Southern Oregon for over 50 years. Mrs. Alden moved to Southern Oregon in the late 1940s with her husband where she farmed with her husband and family on their farm in Williams, Oregon. She was a member of Sedona\u0027s Christ Center Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Alden was preceded in death by her husband, Durwood, Alden, a daughter, Shirley Alden; and a son, John \u0027\u0027Jack\u0027\u0027 Alden. Survivors include her sons, Gary Alden of Sedona, John Alden of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; daughters, Nancy Ligon of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Chris Neisser of Essex, Maryland. She leaves behind numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and many friends. Mrs. Alden will be buried next to her husband. Graveside services will be held in Grants Pass, Oregon, Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully accepted or those who desire, ma make a contribution to a church of your choice. Westcott Funeral Home assited the family with these arrangements.
