Gloria Emma Dunn

January 27, 1924 — February 14, 2015

Gloria Emma Dunn, born January 27, 1924 in Fitchburg, MA passed away in the early hours of February 14, 2015 at the Austin House in Cottonwood, AZ. She was of French-Canadian descent, the only child of Arthur and Marie Louise Letellier. Gloria and her husband, Charlie Milton Dunn, raised their blended family in Southern California prior to purchasing the Oak Creek Market in Sedona, AZ in 1963. Gloria and Milt were active in the Elks Lodge, enjoyed dancing and dune buggy/sand rail adventures. Upon their retirement they relocated to Cottonwood, AZ. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie (Milt) Dunn, sons, Donald Dunn and Robert Dunn, grandson David Dunn, as well as her parents. She is survived by her sons, Delbert (Barbara) Dunn of Stanton, CA and Arthur (Frances) Dunn of Apple Valley, CA; her daughter, Cheryl (Henry) Martin of Cottonwood, AZ; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-granddaughters. A Celebration of Life is planned at Austin House, 195 S.Willard St., Cottonwood, AZ on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10 AM. A private family graveside service is planned for a later date. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Austin House and Hospice of the Pines for the care and love shown to our loved one. We would also like to include the residents of Austin House; the expressions of love were boundless.
