Gloria Shanahan Lawhon

Gloria S. Lawhon, 80, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2006 in Prescott, Arizona. Gloria was born on May 20, 1926 in Rochester, New York to Joseph and Gertrude (Burke) Shanahan. On a professional level, Gloria worked on Wall Street and later continued on in data entry; but on a personal level, Gloria loved to read and she loved to serve the Lord. Gloria was proud of her membership with Emmanuel Fellowship. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Lawhon; she leaves behind her son, Kevin S. Lawhon with his wife, Laurie of Chatsworth, New Jersey; her daughter, Kelly Anderson with her husband, Michael of Chino Valley, Arizona; her two brothers, Daniel Shanahan with his wife, Virginia of Rancho La Costa, California, and Frank Shanahan with his wife, Charlotte of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her sister, Susan Bell with her husband, William of Riverside, California; as well as many nieces and numerous nephews. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 2:00pm in the Senior Hall of Emmanuel Fellowship, 1580 E. Fir Street in Cottonwood, Arizona.
