Grifford Russell Kelly, 84, of Cottonwood died June 20. He was born May 28, 1920 in Petoskey, Michigan. He was an Army veteran of World war II where he recieved a bronze star. Mr. Kelly retired from the Maricopa School District. He was a skilled stone and brick mason for many years. An avid collector of antique clocks and radios, Mr. Kelly was also a Past Commander and Life Member of the VFW, and was also a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Kelly; a son, Michael Kelly of Memphis, Tennessee; a daughter Marsha Kelly of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister Dolly Chance of Grand Rapids, Michigan; five grandchildren, four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements.
