Guy Osborne Lee, resident of Cornville, passed away at home on Monday, October 22, 2007 - his 84th birthday. He was born October 22, 1923 in DesArc, Arkansas to Lynn Albert and Daisy (Osborne) Lee. Guy served his country during WWII as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He started out working an as Electrical Lineman for IBEW; putting up major power lines Nationwide. Following his retirement, Guy worked another two years doing Maintenance at the Phoenix Hospital. Guy was a member of the private Cornballs Camping Club; it consisted of about 25 rigs that would get together and enjoy the outdoors. Guy loved to sit out under his shade tree in the summer, and next to the stove in the winter. Guy is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Doraine Odett Lee; and his son, Michael Lee; two brothers, and four sisters. He leaves behind his daughters, Pamela R. Tjapkes of Cornville, Susan Clay of Muskegon, Michigan, and Debra Sais of Cornville; his daughter-in-law, Michelle Lee-Harris of VanCouver, Washington; his brother, Donald Lee with his wife, Michelle of Copperscove, Texas; his sister, MaryFaye of Colleen, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 12:00pm, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Cornville; where he was proud to be a member.
