Hazel Lorraine Brady

Hazel Lorraine Brady, 80 of Camp Verde, AZ passed away at her home on Monday, January 29th after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Hazel was born September 14, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA to Thomas and Elizabeth (Pulliam) Dendy. She was raised in Prescott, Arizona and was a graduate of Prescott High School. Hazel considered being a mother to her four children and grandmother to be her greatest accomplishment in life. She was always so proud of her family. She took a great deal of pride in her job as a tour bus hostess with Especially 4 U bus Tours in Mesa, Arizona. She enjoyed being with people and making them feel welcome and comfortable while ensuring that everyone had a great time. Hazel especially enjoyed fishing in South Dakota with her son-in-law Brett, Granddaughter Taryn and son Richard. Hazel also enjoyed going to the casino. She had a great love of life and she lived every day to the fullest. Hazel is survived by a son, Richard L. Brady of Camp Verde, AZ; two daughters Pennie A. Pleasant of Camp Verde, Susan K. Warren of Huron, South Dakota; two sisters: Betty Bristow (Virl) of Phoenix, AZ, Jackie Knott (Floyd) of Wickenburg, AZ ; four grandchildren : Taryn Brady, Andrew Gard; Tiffany Brady and Reaana Brady; and many wonderful nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Her mother Elizabeth Pulliam and Step-father "Daddy Jack whom she loved dearly and her son Rusty Brown all preceded her in death. She missed them all a great deal and never forgot what they meant to her. A Memorial Service will be held at the Westcott Funeral Home-Camp Verde Chapel on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 2:00pm.
