Hazel J. Gunter

Hazel June Gunter, 73, of Clarkdale died January 19, 2011. She was born March 22, 1937 in Simms, Texas, the son of Homer June Pender and Clue Annie Hicks. She attended Cleator/Rock Springs schools. She worked in housekeeping at the Enchantment Resort and Rio Verde Nursing Home and as a sewing machine operator at Penn-Mor. She enjoyed sewing and fishing and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survived by daughters, Peggy Dyer (Matthew) of Arizona, Debra Bunch (Randall) of Tennessee and Tracy Sexton Tony) of Arizona; sisters Doris Helgeson (Eddie) of Cottonwood and Dorothy Scott of Texas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
