Helen G. Henslee

Helen Goodwin Henslee, 88 of Cottonwood, passed away on January 1, 2015. She was born on October 15, 1926 in Easton, Maine to Charles and Annie Johnston. Helen attended Easton High School. She worked as a secretary and a licensed casualty and property insurance agent prior to retiring. Helen belonged to Episcopal Church/Anglican Church. Helen enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, reading and crossword puzzles. Helen was preceded in death by husbands Harold Alfred Goodwin and Donald W. Henslee; sister Vera Johnston Miller (Willard); daughter Linda Lee Goodwin and son Almon John Goodwin. She is survived by her companion of 27 years Everette Conquest; daughters Elaine Goodwin Tedeschi of Lebanon, NH and Marilyn Ruth Goodwin Hardeman (Larry) of Sunrise Beach, MO; grandchildren David Griffith, Sherry Lindsay, Michelle Lindsay, Almon John Goodwin II, Tanya Carmen Tedeschi and Gary John Goodwin; and several great-grandchildren. A memorial will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
