Helen Turner, 103 of Cottonwood died June 4 in Sedona. She was born July 25, 1906 in the Oklahoma Territory, the daughter of Arthur Dewey Loomis and Eva Loomis. She was a homemaker and enjoyed teaching china painting. She loved all arts and crafts. A member of Mountain View United Methodist Church, she loved her church activities. She was a bright shinig light to many people. She wasa good lstener to many and always remained happy and positive. Her husband, Charles Turner preceded her in death. Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughter Betty McClure (Bruce) of Cottonwood; two grandchildren Kevin McClure and Lucinda Taylor; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held July 13, 2010 in the Mountain View United Methodist Church at 10 AM with Pastor Michael Anderson will officiate.
