Henry Raymond Mure, 78, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away at home on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. He was born March 1, 1929 in New York City, New York to John Eugene and Louise A. (Despit) Mure. Henry served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. Professionally, he worked with electronics; being employed with such businesses as Hughes Aircraft and Motorola. Henry also worked in Hospital House Keeping when VVMC was originally MJL Hospital. Henry was a proud member of the Catholic Faith; having served as Lecture for 20 years, an adult altar server, and as Secular Servite with the Order of Servite's Servant of Mary. He also dedicated several years to maintenance of the facility. He enjoyed electronics, video, audio reading, and photography. Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Mure, who passed away in January of 2007. He leaves behind his two sons, Edward J. Mure, and Anthony L. Mure; and his daughter, Mary L. Mure. A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rosary will begin at 10:00am with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am.
