Herman Martin JR

Herman Martin age 88, 23 yrs resident of Cottonwood AZ, passed away at home on March 10, 2006. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Dec 22, 1917 to Herman SR and Katherine Martin, he was the oldest of 3 children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Agnes Martin, who died Jan 25, 2006. He is survived by his son Glenn Martin and wife Pamela and their two children Michelle Edwards and husband Matthew and Eric Martin and wife Amber; his sister Helen Martin and brother Robert Martin. He will be loved and dearly missed by those who knew him and remembered for his love of Baseball. He was a fan from the Brooklyn Dodgers to the New York Mets to the AZ Diamondbacks. He was also an avid bowler and fishing enthusiast. Herman was a Naval veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific. Both the visitation (9AM) and funeral service (10AM) will be Tuesday 14 of March at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood.
