Hermann Mickley, 89 of Cottonwood, passed away on November 9, 2015. He was born on September 22, 1926 in Kunsow, Pomerania to Willi and Marie Kowalk Mickley. Hermann served his country in the German Army during WWII. He worked as a mechanic for John Deere Harvester Works. After emigrating from his beloved homeland of Germany, Hermann became a U.S. citizen on November 3, 1965. He was proud to call himself an American. Hermann attended Canyon Bible Church. He enjoyed Bible study and singing in men\u0027s choir. A kind, gentle and loving soul, Hermann was dedicated to the Lord, his wife, family and friends. He left an indelible mark on every life he touched. "He was a fine man." Hermann was preceded in death by his brother Gerhard Mickley. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Anita Mickley of Cottonwood and brother Erwin Mickley of Germany. There are no public services planned.
