Inez Jean Case, 88, went to meet her Savior on October 9, 2015. Born in Sturgeon Bay, WI, the daughter of John and Mayme Phillips, and preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Marshall Case Jr, whom she met and married while attending Northwestern Bible College. Jean served beside her husband in Honduras, Central America for 42 years. Hospitality was her gift and running the mission guest house was her ministry. She welcomed local pastors, work teams and other missionaries with a home-cooked meal and cup of coffee. The Cases moved to Cottonwood, AZ in 2006, where Jean enjoyed being closer to family, who were always welcomed to their home by her lovely smile. Her hospitality extended to members of the Iglesia Hispana who were welcomed to their home as family. You would often hear old hymns playing on the radio in her kitchen. Next to her favorite chair you would see her Bible, the devotional My Utmost for His Highest, and a hot cup of coffee. Jean will be missed by her brother David (Ilse) Phillips of Minneapolis, MN, and her children David (Alicia) Case of Waukesha, WI; Jeanine (Dan) Peterson of Cottonwood, AZ; Kevin (Wendy) Case of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Colleen (Steve) Thuemling of Sussex, WI, as well as her nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. If you are moved to remember Jean in some way, please consider a gift to the House of Ruth Pregnancy Care Center, 1198 E Mingus Ave, PO Box 2195, Cottonwood AZ 86326, in lieu of flowers. An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
