Irene L. Pallace

November 11, 1913 — December 25, 2004

Irene Leona Pallace of Clarkdale decided it was time to leave us on Christmas morning, December 25, 2004. She was born November 27, 1913 in Massena, New York. She lived, grew up and went to school in the Blodgett Mills-Cortland, New York area. She graduated from Crouse Irving School of Nursing and was married to Donald Rogers in 1935. She owned and operated Pleasant Acres Nursing Home with husband George A. Archibald in Central Square, New York for some 30 years. She was active in the Order of Eastern Star and Library Association before retiring and moving west to Clarkdale in 1981 with husband Walter Pallace. In Clarkdale, she was active in the Federated Woman\u0027s Club, Jerome Lady Elks, the United Methodist Church and the Lampliters Association. She was predeceased by all three husbands and many family and friends. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Davis of Clarkdale, half sister Dorothy Henry and family of Cotrland, New York; nieces Mary Lou Sanderson of Clarkdale, Bernita Congdon of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sandra Peterson, Santee, California and nephew, Gerald Davis of Agawam, Massachusetts; also stepsons, George H. Archibald of Chester, New Hampshire, Gerald Pallace of Newfield, New York and Douglas Pallace of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; also stepgrandchildren, David Morrell and family of Liverpool, New York, Susan Green and family of West Monroe, New York and Bethany Pallace of Newfield, New York. Irene Bequested her body to science and stated no memorials be held. Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood assisted the family.
