Jack & Marjorie Miller

Marjorie Lee Miller passed away in Sun City, AZ on March 18, 2023. She was followed shortly after by her husband, Jack C. Miller on April 19, 2023 in Surprise, AZ They had been married for 62 years and had 2 children, Lynn and Reese. Marj was born January 11, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas and Jack was born on December 18, 1935 in Huddy, Kentucky. Jack and Marjorie met in New Mexico while he was in the Air Force, and Marjorie was attending college. They are survived by their daughter Lynn Wright (Vincent) of El Mirage; son Reese Miller (Lisa) of North Carolina; granddaughters Jaclynn King (Justin) of Suisun City, and Nicole Lukes (Greg) of Raleigh, NC; grandsons Rick Hoffmann (Misaya) of Japan and Scott Miller (Melissa) of Raleigh, NC. Marjorie enjoyed needlework, knitting, sewing, crafts, electronics and loved cats, especially her own. Jack was very athletic, and enjoyed skin diving, basketball, cornhole, darts, and especially golf. He achieved several holes in one at the country club near his home. A double memorial service for both was held on April 22, 2023 and a graveside service with military honors will be held on May 22, 2023 at 9:00 am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
