Jake William Palmer, 19 of Cottonwood passed away unexpectedly September 27th, 2011. He was born May 31, 1992 in Cottonwood, the son of Mike Salibury and Tracie Tabback. He attended Cottonwood schools and Mingus Union High School. Jake enjoyed mechanics, outdoor sports and four wheeling. Besides his parents, Jake is survived by brothers Maximus and Raidon and stepfather Mike Tabback. Though Jake\u0027s time here on Earth was relatively short, his lasting impact will be felt for generations to come. Those who got to know Jake were the better for it. His strength, love, generosity and loyalty knew no bounds. Jake was the kind of person that made others feel truly special. Whether it was sharing his last dollar to buy himself and a friend a soda, or burning his last gallon of gas towing a friend out of a muddy ditch. It was as if Jake could make the Sun shine brighter, the difficult seem easier and the great even greater. Those of us he leaves behind would give anything to end the pain from how he died. But, we\u0027d do it all again for the chance at one more ride. A memorial service will be held at the Westcott Funeral home. Tuesday, October the 4th at 11am An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
