James Thomas Murray, Jr., 44, resident of Pittsburg, Kansas passed away in Cottonwood on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. He was born January 17, 1964 in Charlotte, Michigan to Thomas James and Pauline Murray. Jimmy worked in Kansas as a carpenter. Jimmy had a deep fondness of art, music, playing guitar, and rescuing abandoned kittens. He loved family and friends unconditionally and relished a healthy political or religious debate with anyone willing to take the bait. He loved to fish, hike and grow plants. His smile was enchanting, his charm irresistible and his laugh contagious. All who knew and loved Jimmy will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Michael Bryan Murray; and his nephew, Michael Bryan McDaniel. He leaves behind his wife, Kelli Murray; his parents, James Thomas Murray Sr. of Florida, and Pauline and Arnold Adkins of Cottonwood; his brother, Bryan Murray with his wife, Cara of Tuscon , AZ; his sisters, Katrina Colley with her husband, Tim of Melbourne, Florida, and Tammy Vaughter with her husband, TJ of Potter, Nebraska; five nieces, Renee Vaughter, Sara Vaughter, Mercadiez Hocqard, Samantha Graves, and Alyssa Colley; and three nephews, Roy McDaniel with his wife, Vali, William Vaughter, and Isaiah Colley.
