Jamie Treakle Montiel

Jamie Treakle Montiel, 26, Cottonwood, passed away. She was born March 20, 1986 in Cottonwood, the daughter of James J. Treakle and Donna H. Brown. She attended Cottonwood schools and worked with her sister and mother at the Tamale Factory. She went on to become the head cook at Georgie\u0027s Caf. She will be remembered as being a fantastic Mom and having the ability to make others smile. Jamie was a member of the Evangel Worship Center. She enjoyed drawing, singing, playing with her children, enjoying the outdoors and making dream catchers. Jamie helped anyone in need. She leaves her parents; her husband from whom she was separated, Joseph Montiel; daughters Cherie, Lilla and Jamie; brothers Job, Nathaniel and Jimmie; stepsister Juanita and Millie Treakle. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 8 at the Evangel Worship Center at 1 PM. Donations in her memory would be appreciated. A memorial account has been set up.
