Janice Roser (Meyer)

1952-2022

In Memory of Janice Roser, who was a long-time Cottonwood resident and hair stylist.

Janice was born in 1952 in Chicago, IL. After graduating from Steinmenz High School, she earned her cosmetology license in 1975. That license enabled her to have the most fun, 47-year career in the beauty industry, spanning from Chicago to California to Cottonwood, where she has lived for over 30 years.

Janice’s clients became her dear friends. She enjoyed all of the haircuts, colors, nail designs, dance music, pots of coffee, and her fellow stylists.

Later in life, Janice joined the Catholic faith, where she experienced a new-found love of God. She loved going to church and volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul.

Janice is survived by her daughters, Alice and Nicole, and grandchildren Dominick and Natalie. We thank Janice for her peace, love and rock n’ roll attitude, and many years of service in the community. She will be deeply missed.
