Jasper Gilbert Gentry

Jasper Gilbert Gentry, 95, of Cottonwood died April 20. He was born in Pine, Arizona on February 8, 1908 and lived most of his life in the Verde Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie and a daughter, Darlene Koski. He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Elda and Melvin Jackson of Cottonwood; a son and his wife, Arthur and Earlene Gentry of Middle Verde; granddaughters, Phyllis Jackson of Cottonwood, Karen Gentry of Middle Verde, Tracey Smith and Veronica Koski of Concord, California, grandsons, Kenneth Smith and Pete Koski, both of Concord, California; a brother Oscar Pusher of Camp Verde and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Pueblo of Laguna, Laguna, New Mexico. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 4-6 PM. Burial will be in New Mexico.
