Jay Dee Bennett, 65, of Cottonwood died June 16. He was born October 31, 1944 in Cowan, West Virginia, the son of Doyle and Lenora (Crisp) Bennett. He served his country in the Army in Vietnam. Mr. Bennett worked for Texaco and Shell for 34 years. He was a member of the Evangel Worship Center. He loved old cars and RVing. His parents and a sister, Tammar Bennett preceded him in death. He leaves his wife of 31 years, Janna Bennett; a son, Brian Rhoan (Cynthia) of Pomona, California; daughter Shannon Rubio of Bakersfiled, California; aunts Barbara Morland (George) of Foly, Alabama, Christine Scott of Mentor, Ohio and Clara Cogar (Richard) of Webster Springs, West Virginia; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26 in the Evangel Worship Center, 1380 E. Mingus Ave at 11:30 AM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Evangel Worship Center, 1329 E.
