Jean K. Feldt, 80, of Cottonwood AZ peacefully passed on March 17, 2012 at her home after a short battle with cancer. She was born February 17, 1932 in Rochester, MN, daughter of George and Deloris Krudwig. She married Lawrence Feldt of Spring Valley MN in 1950 and together raised seven children. She was a talented seamstress, cook, and gardener; outfished her husband for walleyes; along with her family, planted over one million trees for reforestation in northern Minnesota; and loved to travel, spending winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She will be remembered for her laughter, generous nature and style. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, grandson Peter, and sister Barbara. She is survived by her children Michael of Rimrock AZ, Michelle (John) of Duluth MN, Mark (Deborah) of Cottonwood AZ, John (Pam) of Silver Bay MN, Robyn of Minneapolis MN, Elizabeth (Chris) of Flagstaff AZ, and Kathryn (Steve) of Duluth MN; two brothers, John of Rochester MN and Jim of Oronoco MN; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church in Stewartville MN at 11 am.
