Jeanette P. Durgain

Jeanette P. Durgain of Cottonwood passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was 97 years old. Jeanette was born on May 17, 1917 to Raymond and Gladys Perkins in Orrington, ME. When she grew up, Jeanette became a homemaker. She loved camping, fishing and playing cards. After living for many years in Laramie, WY, she and her husband Fred moved permanently to the Verde Valley in 1994. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Frederic. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Connie) Durgain of Cottonwood and Curtis (Leslie) Durgain of Laramie, WY; her daughter, Mary (Jerry) Atchley of Hot Springs, AR; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
