Jeanette Edna Shelton

Jeanette Edna Shelton, 71 of Clarkdale, passed away on September 1, 2012 in Sedona. She was born on November 5, 1940 in San Francisco, CA to James B. DelleValle and Juana E. Green. Jeanette worked as a Headstart cook and a caregiver. She attended Clarkdale Baptist Church. Jeanette enjoyed rock painting, collecting old treasures from the past and was an avid Clint Eastwood fan. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Juana and James. She is survived by sons Wesley Daulton Shelton (Patti) of Cornville, James Damon Shelton of Cottonwood and Jason Edward Shelton of Cottonwood; daughter Sabrina Lynn Wendt (Stephen) of Hurricane, Utah; brothers Jess Poland (Donna) of Washington and Jack Poland (Morgan) of Arizona; sisters Juana Mead of Arizona and Judy Petty (Ken) of Texas; parent Edward Green of Cottonwood; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00am at Clarkdale Baptist Church in Clarkdale. Burial will take place at Valley View Cemetery.
