Jeanne E. Michelsen, 89, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012. She was born near Milan, Michigan on September 24, 1923 to Arlo and Blanche Dysinger. She graduated valedictorian of the Milan High School Class of 1941. She lived in nearby Ypsilanti most of her life where she and her late husband were in the retail gasoline business. She was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star for over fifty years. Jeanne moved to Cottonwood, Arizona in 2009 to live near her daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Michelsen and sons-in-law Alfred C. Curtiss, Jr. and Edward J. Takach. She is survived by her daughters Laura J. Curtiss and Lois J. Takach along with her grand dogs Snoopy and Heartley. Jeanne will be laid to rest with her husband in Michigan.
