Jesse Perez

Jesse Perez, 69, of Cottonwood died February 2, 2011. He was born December 19, 1941 in Holtville, California. He graduated from Chula Vista High School in 1960 and from National City Welding in 1961. He worked for John Elway Toyota, General Dynamics, Freightliner (as a welder) and Emterprise Rent-A-Car. Mr. Perez enjoyed track and field and dancing and held trophies in both categories. He also enjoyed sports in general. He was a member of the Verde Baptist Church and was a member of the choir. His wife of 42 years, Carol J. Perez survives him as well as a brother Ralph Perez; sisters Joy L. (Robert) Perez of Escondido, California and Eleanor Gomez.
