Joan Eileen Sullivan Pitts

Joan Eileen Sullivan Pitts, 95 of Cottonwood, passed away on August 28, 2015. She was born on April 9, 1920 in Bexley Heath, Kent, England to Charles and Edith Sullivan. Joan was a member of the Bahai faith. Our mom loved being with her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. Joan was preceded in death by both her first and second husbands William Snyder and William Pitts; son Richard Craig Pitts and brother Pat Sullivan. She is survived by son Steven Pitts of Cottonwood; daughters Linda Young (David) of Sparta, NC and Ginny Snyder of Cottonwood; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
