John Rex Blankenship

John Rex Blankenship, 74, of Sedona, Arizona died on Sunday, July 18th. He was born in Sheffield, Alabama on April 16, 1929. Mr. Blankenship was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired engineer, having worked in the aerospace industry for McDonnell Douglas. Mr. Blankenship is survived by two sons and their wives: Steven and Paula Blankenship of Cottonwood, Arizona; John and Carolyn Blankenship of Pleasantville, New York; a daughter and her husband: Kristen and Edward Barnett of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters: Barbara Windsor of Mississippi; Grace Atchley of Alabama; a brother: Lincoln Blankenship of Alabama and seven grandchildren. Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood, is assisting the Blankenship Family with arrangements. No Public services have been planned.
