John Allen Brabec

John Allen Brabec, 83 of Sedona, passed away on February 4, 2015. He was born on January 10, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN to George and Frances Brabec. John attended the Minnesota School of Business for 2 years. He served his country in the Army in the 82nd Airborne. He then worked as a self-employed court reporter for 34 years. John enjoyed fishing and gardening. John is survived by his wife of 43 years June H. Brabec; son Wayne C. Nelson (Christina) of Prescott Valley; daughter Jayne H. Sabourin (John) of Troy, MI and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 10 at 1:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood with a reception afterwards.
