John O. Brockman of Sedona was born October 24, 1920 in San Fancisco, California. He went to sleep in death at his home with loved ones by his side on January 2, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Sarah Brockman, daughter Eileen Manion and Kim Scott and three grandchildren. He retired from the U.S. Treasury after 36 years of service. He was known for his work with the US Commission of Customs, Investigations and Enforcement Service in Washington, D.C. He was an active member in the congregation of Jehovah\u0027s Witnesses in Sedona. His freinds and family will miss the beautiful smile, hearty laughter, interesting stories, wit and quoting poetry. His family would like to thank all the friends and members of the community that has helped throughout this long ordeal. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah\u0027s Witnesses, 100 Northview Road, Sedona at 2 PM on Saturday, January 8th.
