John Parker Gillam

John Parker Gillam, 78 of Sedona, passed away in Cottonwood on April 5, 2018. He was born on January 15, 1940 in Pasadena, CA to Claude E. and Borghild Gillam. John attended University of Southern California and received his BS and MBA. He worked for Ford Motor Company from 1965 - 2001. From 1988 - 1991 he lived in Japan while working for them. John was a member of the Church of the Red Rocks. He traveled extensively internationally. He served locally on KSB, Voice of Choice, All American Road and Big Park Council. John was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Borghild Gillam and brothers James Gillam and Eugene Gillam. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Roberta of Sedona; son John Jay W. Gillam (Michelle) of El Segundo, CA; daughter Megan E. Gillam of Redondo Beach, CA; sister Claudia Gillam of San Diego, CA and 1 grandchild. Services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena, CA on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to KSB and/or CRR.
