John B. Gizas, 52 of Clarkdale, passed away on August 13, 2011. He was born on December 18, 1958 in Suffern, New York to Evelyn Finn and John J. Gizas. John was in the Marine Corps for 6 years as Staff Sergeant. John is survived by his children: Danielle, Brian, Amanda and Brett, all of Washington state and Jannel of W. Haverstraw, NY. He is also survived by brothers Terrance Halstead of Cottonwood and Michael Halstead of Stony Point, NY; sister Donna Mihalis of Honesdale, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
