John Anthony Hopkins, 42, resident of Camp Verde passed away May 20, 2007 in Sedona. He was born September 18, 1964 in Sulphur, Louisiana. John was an accomplished drummer, and found great enjoyment in music. He worked as a Laborer in a variety of maintenence positions. John had a free spirit and the heart of a child. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. John leaves behind his mother, Cynthia Hopkins; his grandmother, Ethel Joyce Murphy; and his sister, Christina Wood. He is preceded in death by his father, Carville Benson Hopkins, Jr. There will be a ceremony and a potluck gathering at his mother\u0027s home to celebrate his life on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 3:00pm.
