John V. Barry, Jr.

John V. Barry, Jr., 87, of Cottonwood died January 4. He was born November 1, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John V. and Ethelyn I. Barry He was a Navy veteran serving with the Construction Battalion. Mr. Barry worked as a lineman for APS for 33 years. Mr. Barry was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveled from the west coast through many provinces of Canada. Mr. Barry leaves his wife of 67 years, Barbara J. Barry; sons, John "Jack" (Kay) Barry of Los Lunas, New Mexico and Dennis J. (Jan) Barry of Phoenix; seven grandchildren, eighteen grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Private family services were held. Memorial donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund, 700 N. Bill Grey Rd., Cottonwood 86326.
