John C. Meinke

John C. Meinke, 80, of Clarkdale died April 17. He was born August 9, 1930 in Park Rapids, Minnesota, the son of Charles Fritz Meinke and Pearl Independence Glassco Meinke. He was a graduate of Park Rapids High School. He served his country in the Army from 1950-1971. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant and received a Bronze star and the Vietnam Campaign Medal for his service. He also was an antiques dealer. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He leaves his wife of 59 years and 10 months, Patricia; sons Charles (Petra) of Minnesota and Drake; a daughter Terry (Roberta) of Illinois; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Private services will be held.
