John L. Tavasci Sr

John L. Tavasci, 90, of Clarkdale, passed away in Phoenix on March 16, 2015. He was born on January 23, 1925 in Jerome to Paul and Mary Tavasci. John attended Clarkdale Schools from K-12. He was a dairy farmer, truck driver owner/operator and owner of the Mingus Union bus company. John belonged to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. John is survived by his wife of 68 years, Phyllis Tavasci; son, John Tavasci Jr. (Jane) of Clarkdale; daughters Anita Marie Brozell (Marvin) of Erie, PA, Irma Dale Williams and Debra Ann Greene (Richard) of Prescott Valley; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Road in Cottonwood.
