John Joseph Uidenich, 58, of Cottonwood died April 4. He was born April 24, 1951 in Eveleth, Minnesota, the son of Lawrence Eli Uidenich and Jeanne Marie Campbell Uidenich. He was a graduate of Eveleth High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University. Mr. Uidenich was a well respected and well liked teacher at Mingus Union High School, where he also served as coach for golf, baseball, softball and football. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. His family will remember him as a loving husband and father and grandfather. He leaves his wife of thirty-five years, Dianne Uidenich; a son, Joseph Uidenich (Amber) of Vail, Arizona; a daughter Karen Madore (Michael) of Cottonwood; two brothers, William O¿½Neal (Jane) of Eveleth, Minnesota and Daniel Uidenich of Phoenix; a sister Jayne Montgomery of Phoenix; five beloved grandchildren, Kobe Kathryn Madore and Jacob John Madore, Kathryn Mackenzie Uidenich, Allison Campbell Uidenich and Colin Wayne Uidenich. A visitation will be held Monday April 12 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday April 13 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 4 PM.
