Jose Ortega Bedolla, Sr.

Jose Ortega Bodella, Sr., 57, of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on March 18, 1948 to Perfecto Bedolla and Maria Ortega Ibarra-Bedolla in Durango, Mexico. Jose grew up and graduated High School in Mexico. Jose worked in the Construction Business for over 36 years, and was currently working in the Roofing Industry with the family owned business. He was a sports fan, and an outdoor adventurer. More than anything, he enjoyed being with his family. Jose leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Maria Bedolla. He was the deovoted father of five sons, Jose (Sylvia) Bedolla, Manuel (Faviola) Bedolla, Roberto (Juana) Bedolla all of Cottonwood, AZ, Jorge (Nancy) Bedolla, and Hector (Sandra) Bedolla all of La Mirada, CA; and two daughters, Alma Bedolla (Javier Somoza), and Aracely Bedolla, all of Cottonwood, AZ. He was the charished brother of Nasario, Guillermo, Pedro, Pablo, Martin, Tilo, Rosalio, and Ernestina, as well as, the adored grandfather of 14 grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary will be held at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood, AZ, on Sunday, February 5, 2006 from 5:00-8:00pm, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will follow Monday morning, February 6, 2006 at 11:00am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Rd. in Cottonwood, AZ.
