Joseph Kirk Thorbecke, 47, of Cottonwood and former resident of Kingman, Arizona died February 1. He was born November 20, 1955 in Casa Grande. He worked in construction and was a member of Local 383 in Arizona and Local 872 in Nevada. He was also a member of search and rescue team, the National Rifle Association, the Hualapai 4 Wheelers, and the Sons of the American Legion. He will be remembered by his family as a compassionate man who loved his children and his wife. Mr. Thorbecke leaves his wife Kathleen Thorbecke; two daughters, Joleen Thorbecke and Andrea Thorbecke; his father Joseph Thorbecke, his mother Roberta Machi; a sister Joleen Parry of Gilbert; and a brother Jack \u0027\u0027Chipper\u0027\u0027 Hilberg of Phoenix. A rosary will be held in the Westcott Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6 at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 7 in the Immaculate Conception Church, N. Bill Gray Rd. at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.
