Joe Ybarra Zepeda

April 30, 1939 – March 8, 2025

Joe Y. Zepeda of Clarkdale, Arizona passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 8, 2025 at the age of 85. He was born in Cottonwood to Joseph Zepeda and Carmen Zepeda. He graduated from Clemenceau High School.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Armida Zepeda and sons Ricardo Zepeda and Arthur Zepeda. He is survived by daughter Jeannette Delladonna (Scott) of Phoenix; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Joe worked at Verde Independent for 35 years as a pressman and at the Prescott Courier.

Joe and Armida had a passion for cruising the ocean. They went to Europe, Mexico, South America, the Panama Canal and twice to the Hawaiian Islands.

Funeral Services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Friday, March 21, 2025. Visitation will start at 10:00am with the service following at 10:45am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
