Josephine M. Hutchison

Josephine M. Hutchison passed away on June 2, 2011 at Red Rock Care Center in Cottonwood. She was born on October 25, 1912 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Joseph and Wilhelmia Widmeyer. Josephine graduated from Ohio State College on June 10, 1935 with a degree in Home Economics. Josephine married Frank Hutchison on September 28, 1940. Mr. Hutchison served with the army during World War II and passed away in December of 1949. Josephine worked in Hawaii for Mid-Pac schools for many years as a dietician and then continued with the California School System in the same capacity until her retirement. She was a great supporter of Mid-Pac Institute, Boys Town, Cardinal Glennon Children\u0027s Hospital and Father Flanagan\u0027s Boys Home. She is survived by nephews Jerry and Jim Bishop, John Pigott and niece Kathy Brownell. There were no services. An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
