Joyce Anne Reynolds, 87, resident of Cornville, AZ, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2006. She was born on November 19, 1918 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Clinton Ray and Cora H. Crank. Joyce was an educator for the American Cancer Society in San Diego, California. Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a nurturing caregiver and friend to many. After the death of her sister in 1956, Joyce provided a secure and loving home to her niece, Suzanne. She possessed an indomitable spirit and was an inspiration to so many. Joyce was an avid reader; she also enjoyed woodworking, sewing and country music. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Smokey" Reynolds (1911-1996) and her son, Thomas Reynolds (1942-1993). Joyce leaves behind her daughter, Rozlyn with her husband, David of Sedona, Arizona; her brother, George Crank with his wife, Vivian of Fouke, Arkansas; her niece, Suzanne Hannon with her husband, Michael of Connecticut; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Kayla and Michael. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 10:00am at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood, Arizona. A Graveside Service will be held at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego, California.
