Joyce Elaine (Welch) Smith

Joyce Elaine (Welch) Smith, 67, resident of Cottonwood, passed away at home on Monday afternoon, September 24, 2007. She was born in Montclair, New Jersey on February 12, 1940 to James Edward and Ruth Harriet (Hooey) Welch. Joyce was a member of the Emmanuel Fellowship Church. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 49 years, William E. Smith, Jr. of Cottonwood; her loving children, Kevin Smith of Cottonwood, Billy Smith with his wife, Debra of Newton, New Jersey, and Bobby Smith of San Clemente, California, Pam Babcock with her husband, Ray of Avoca, Pennsylvania, and Lisa Peasley with her husband, Roger of Mesa, Arizona; one brother, James Welch with his wife Denise of Swartswood, New Jersey; one sister, Patricia Hanrahan of Newton, New Jersey; as well as, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren-whom she adored.
