Kenneth Harold Johnson, 77, of Cottonwood died July 29. He was born February 1, 1926 in Marion, Illinois. Mr. Johnson was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was an army veteran of World War II and was honored on September 26 with military honors at his interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Mr. Johnson was a resident of Cottonwood for 30 years. Most of his friends will remember his flea markets and swap meets as well as owner of several antique cars. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth Mary Johnson; two daughters, Cyndee Johnson of Cottonwood and Elva Broughman of Richmond, Virginia; two sons, Kenneth \u0027\u0027Buddy\u0027\u0027 Johnson, Jr.and Tom Johnson, both of Cottonwood; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; an aunt, Jeanette Watson of Michigan and an uncle, Herman Joynes of Texas. Services have been held. Westcott Funeral Home directed these arrangements.
