Larry Norton

Larry Norton, 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, née Kolenda, of 62 years and children, Todd, Amy and Julie and his former daughter-in-law, Marcia Hunt. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Kenney, and brother-in-law, Tom Kenney, and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Irene Norton.

Larry was self-employed, owning SYSCON, Energy Independence and Quantum Technology. He started in the computer business in 1961. His passion was volunteering, which included Alpine Rescue, Evergreen Ambulance Service, Winter Park Disabled Ski Program and Hospice. Larry also traveled to Carmen Pompa, Bolivia to help install a satellite dish to provide internet service to a college for indigenous students.

Private family service and burial will be in Evergreen, Colorado.
