Laura Elizabeth Ballard was called home at the age of 55 by her Savior Jesus Christ on July 30, 2012. She is healed and whole now and set free! She was born Guymon, Oklahoma July 22, 1957 and lived in Texas and Colorado as an infant but was raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. She relocated to Phoenix where she had a blossoming career as an Underwriter II for the Colony Specialty Argo group. She enjoyed being with friends and family. She always made sure everyone was doing something fun and different; she never rested or slowed down. She didn\u0027t have children of her own, but she did wrap her arms tightly around her nephews. She was like a second mother to all of them. If there was an adventure to be found she would make sure they were a part of it. She always made sure memories were created no matter who she was with or what she was doing. She loved the Lord and shared His Word with everyone, in her own special way. She will be deeply missed by her mother Helen Ballard, brother-in-law and sister, Victor and Jackie Romero, brother Eddie Ballard, nephews, Dustin Ballard, Dwight Romero and Blake Ballard, husband Jeremy West, aunt Laura Bodam, cousins, and her best friends Leslie and Peggy. She joined her dad Dale Ballard in heaven. A celebration of her life will be held on August 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at Cottonwood Christian Assembly, 750 Mingus Ave. Cottonwood. Her home church. Instead of flowers she requested donations be made to TIPS - Trauma Intervention Programs of Arizona, Inc.
