Lee Ray Sulier of Clarkdale passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. He was 74 years old. He was born on September 28, 1939 in St. Ignatius, MT to Clyde and Mildred (Watt) Sulier. As an adult Lee served his country in the Navy; after 4 years in the Navy Lee returned to Montana for awhile. He moved to Phoenix in the fall of 1963 and worked as a roofer, finish carpenter, tree trimmer and truck driver. He was a furniture mover on the road from 1965 to 1975 and saw a lot of the country. Lee and his wife Mary have been together since 1972. Lee had a furniture repair business in Tempe, AZ from 1975-1990 and a handyman business from 1990-1993. After moving his parents to Cottonwood from Montana, Lee and Mary bought 3 acres to start building a home. Lee stayed with his parents during the week while building the house and went back to Tempe on the weekends. Lee was a volunteer driver for the Disabled American Veterans for 6 years, taking veterans to doctor appointments all around the state. When he was not driving, Lee worked on many projects in his garage/shop. He was well loved, had a wonderful personality and will be missed by all. Lee is survived by his wife Mary of Clarkdale and 5 \u0027double\u0027 cousins, Barbara Walters of Cottonwood, Russ Sulier of Cottonwood, Patty Lujan of Chino Valley, Virginia Sulier of Prescott Valley and John Sulier of Cottonwood. A memorial service with reception to follow will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 1:00 P.M. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
