Leon E. Guinn, 83, resident of Cottonwood, passed away Monday November 28, 2005. Leon was born August 8, 1922 in Paden, OK to Daniel and Easter Guinn. Leon worked in the construction business. He owned a gravel plant, and as a home builder he was able to utilize his skills as mason and and fireplace specialist. Leon served his country during WWII in the U.S. Marine Corps. Leon was a member of the LDS Church. He served in many capacities, which included Sunday School President, MIA President and a teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood. Leon was also a part of a Western Band, writing songs, singing and playing the guitar. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and hiking. Leon is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Roberta \u0027Bobbie\u0027; his infant son, Bruce; 2 brothers; Henry and James \u0027Jimmie\u0027 and 2 sisters, Pauline and Bonnie. He leaves behind 2 sons, Mickey (Wanda) Guinn of California and Bill (Sue) of Utah; brother, Harley (Doris) Guinn of Arizona; 2 sisters, Lucille (Bill) Scott and Loretta (Gene) Scott, both of California; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
