Leonard L. Schwabe

Leonard Leroy Schwabe, 73, of Cottonwood died February 9. He was born March 20, 1930 in Tarrytown, New York. He met his soulmate, Irmgard Kretschmann in 1958. Roy graduated from Pace College, New York and had a career as Chief Financial Officer in retail. Roy and Irmgard celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this past December. They lived in Jacksonville, Florida for 27 years before joining their daughter in Arizona in 1999. Mr. Schwabe was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Their life together was shared with two children a daughter, Karen Schwabe; a son Eric Schwabe; and two grandchildren, Eric, Jr. and Bobby. Private services will be held. Westcott Funeral Home is serving this family.
